Learn Japanese in the centre of Yokohama. Our school is just a five-minute walk from Yokohama Station, making it an easy-to-reach location even if you're coming in from Tokyo or any of the nearby cities in Kanagawa prefecture.

Yokohama is one of the most international and foreign-friendly cities in Japan, with good support for newcomers. It's the perfect place to learn Japanese while feeling at home. Yokohama also has plenty of international restaurants and interesting sights to explore.

We've also recently expanded our school in this location, with more spacious classrooms, new lounges, improved facilities, and other amenities, giving you (the student) more space to study, relax, and meet new people.

Our goal is simple: to help you learn all the Japanese you need to enjoy your life in Yokohama and Japan as a whole.

"Friendly, supportive, and professional."

The location is excellent; there are many things to do around the school. I would recommend Coto to others because it focuses on teaching how to converse with others instead of just teaching grammar like other language schools I attended. Staff is very welcoming, it feels like they really want to know about me. Overall, great experience.

I have a great impression about this school, and the school is well located, the Yokohama location has a great access to the station and many restaurants around, the staff is friendly and simpatic, I will miss it.

The intensive course really helped me to improve my Japanese skills within a month. I love that the class is small and that we get to apply what we learned in class through various activities.
