The Faculty of Medicine at Oxford College offers a clear introduction to medical study, combining academic depth with practical application. Across two weeks you’ll explore human biology, medical ethics and clinical practice through a curriculum designed to prepare you for the path ahead.

The course builds a strong base in the sciences that underpin medicine. You’ll study anatomy, physiology and pathology to understand how the body works and how disease develops. Alongside this you’ll examine medical ethics, thinking critically about the responsibilities that come with a career in healthcare.

Learning isn’t limited to the classroom. You’ll spend time in simulated clinical settings where you practise core skills: assessing patients, communicating clearly and responding with first aid. These sessions are designed to build confidence as well as competence.

Collaboration is central. You’ll work in groups on case studies and problem-solving tasks that reflect the realities of medical teamwork. Teaching is supported by experienced professionals who share knowledge from their own careers.
